Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) has started shifting equipment for road cutting. The work on the construction for erecting pillars for metro project is likely to start soon on main Kanpur Road. Larsen and Toubro is the project contractor. L&T will cut 4.5 metre on each side of the divider to start digging road so that pile construction can begun. LMRC has already submitted traffic conversion plan to the traffic police for approval. Most of the metro route will be declared as a no parking zone.
