Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) assured the residents of Sector 4, Gurgaon, to arrange for reconstruction of a community centre with a car parking and other facilities.
This follows the complaint registered by the residents welfare association (RWA) with the authority during a recent meeting.
During the meeting, the authority assured to prepare a plan and make a rough estimate about the cost of construction. It would also take efforts to get the estimate approved by the relevant government departments.
At the meeting, the association suggested the construction of an underground parking lot. The association was dissatisfied with the maintenance services in the area and it discussed various development issues, which need improvement, during the meeting.
The representatives of Sector 15-I RWA informed Kumar about the incomplete repair work done by the contractor assigned by HUDA on their community centre. He has not carried out white-washing and other sundry repairs here, they said.
The representatives of Sector 4 discussed the need for proper maintenance of parks. They argue that there are 22 parks in their colony but none of them have been maintained by officials concerned properly. During the meeting, Kumar suggested that to begin with development of seven to eight parks in the area would be carried out.
