Rs 196.32 cr road works planned in Bangalore

In Bangalore, road works at a cost of Rs 196.32 crore have been planned in Shatinagar assembly constituency under the Tender SURE guidelines in three packages, said the area MLA NA Haris. Many roads falling under his constituency are dotted with potholes.    In the city, Church Street, KH Road, Commercial Street, Raj Bhavan Road, 20th main road and JC Road will be taken up for repairs at a cost of Rs 57.3 crore.    In the first package a road length of 10.2 km, including Residency Road, Richmond Road, Cunningham Road, Vittal Mallya Hospital Road, St Marks Road, Commissariat Road and Museum Road will be taken up for repairs at a cost of Rs 78 crore. The package has been sent to government for tender approval, the MLA said.
