UP govt to repair dug up roads in Kanpur

Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department (PWD) will repair and construct the roads dug by Jal Sansthan in Kanpur city. Keeping in view the forthcoming international one-day match to be held in the city, roads in the vicinity of Green Park Stadium would be repaired or would be carpeted, said the State Principal Secretary Rajneesh Dubey on November 8.    The connecting roads between Kanpur and Lucknow would be improved. Detailing development work in Kanpur, the principal secretary said a bridge over Kalyani River near Bithoor would be raised and a sum of Rs 50 crore had been earmarked for that.
