Vellore district Collector R Nanthagopal on November 5 inspected a newly laid road in Ananthalai panchayat in the district. It is constructed at a cost of Rs 27 lakh and it is 1.5 km in length. He also inspected a 220-metre long cement road at Chettithangal panchayat laid at a cost of Rs 4.35 lakh.
He directed the officials concerned to collect samples of the newly laid roads to conduct quality test. He also inspected the other development works in Vanapadi and other areas.
