According to media reports, state-owned Gujarat State Petroleum Corp (GSPC) may get liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply from the British oil and gas firm BG Group (BG).
It is learnt that both the firms may enter into a 20-year contract on LNG worth as much as $20 billion.
It may be recalled that Gujarat State Petroleum Corp signed an initial agreement with BG in 2011 to explore supplying as much as 2.5 million tonne of LNG per year.
