Tulsi Tanti,chairman and managing director of Suzlon Energy plans to expand its footprint in a big way in the state of Madhya Pradesh by investing around Rs 15,000 crore in the next five years. Part of this investment will come through foreign players. The company currently has an installed capacity of 200 MW, which would be scaled to 2,200 MW in the next five years. Suzlon plans to set up a manufacturing unit in MP. The company is scouting for land in this regard.
