With the commissioning of a modern power sub-station, quality of electricity supply is likely to improve in New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) areas.
The 33 kv sub-station, built at a cost of Rs 11.5 crore at Raisina Road by the NDMC, was inaugurated on May 1 by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.
Dikshit complemented NDMC for setting up of the sub-station.
Constructed by engineering major Larsen & Toubro, the sub-station has been set up to further improve quality of power supply in the areas under NDMC.
A dedicated rainwater harvesting system has also been set up at the complex.
