Ambassador of France to India, Francois Richier has stated that his country is very keen on partnering with Indian industry in the renewable energy sector, particularly solar energy. He was addressing an event in Chennai on September 23 to showcase French companies catering to solar energy products. France will also consider ‘financial instruments’ to encourage solar energy with the permission of the Union Government India, he added.
