To facilitate landing of big aircraft and night landing facility at Rajahmundry, the Andhra Pradesh government is taking initiative to acquire land of 857 acres. Now, the State revenue authorities are expediting the process to carry out the survey at Madhurapudi and Burugupudi villages of Korukonda mandal in East Godavari.
The State authorities stated that a notification will be issued for the land's acquisition. Out of the total proposed stretch of the land, survey was carried out in about 160 acres land so far. The teams have completed the survey by collecting information pertaining to enjoyment, boundaries and other parameters.
