From its planned solar projects, Su-Kam is targeting to earn Rs 350 crore in this fiscal. Su-Kam is a power solutions provider. The company is setting up rooftop solar power projects from minimum range of 1 mw to maximum of 100 mw in residential, commercial and institutional space. The company said that it has set a target to achieve sale of Rs 350 crore which will come up from setting up solar power projects in current fiscal. The company had clocked a turnover of Rs 100 crore in the last fiscal.
The awareness about rooftop solar power projects is still very low in India, but the company is committed to developing and promoting this segment in a big way, the company said.
The company is coming up with a new facility at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh which will entail an investment of Rs 70 crore with a capacity of 2.5 lakh units of solar items per month. The new facility will come up in January next year.
