Sai Exports, a Bangalore based garment manufacturing company, is likely to set up a textile park on 250 acre in Shimoga, Karnataka.
The company is expected to pump in Rs 560 crore to set up the park on the land acquired by the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB). The Mangalore Electricity Supply Company is to supply power to the proposed park.
The State Government has given its approval for the project.
