Kerala Public Works Minister VK Ebrahim Kunju has stated that the Union Public Works Department will renovate 11 more roads which connect Sabarimala at an estimated cost of Rs 76.55 crore. Sabarimala is a renowned temple town of Lord Ayyappa.
The roads renovation will be take up as per the National Highway standards, he added. Kunju said this in Pathanamthitta, while inspecting the main trunk roads leading to Sabarimala in the district on November 12.
The Thiruvalla-Kumbazha Road (2 stretches), Kozhencherry-Melukara-Ranni Road, Kadakkad-Kaipattoor Road, and the Kumbazha-Konni Road will come under the proposed project.
