Nepal's first public limited company, Nepal Purwardhar Bikash Company (NPBCL) is building a national toll highway and November 11 it initiated the construction work formally on the 58-km project.
The Kathmandu-Hetauda Tunnel Highway is being
initiated by private sector under public, private, people partnership model.
The project is one of the Nepal's largest infrastructure project, say media reports. This is also the first road project in the Himalayan nation envisioned and developed by the private sector using its own resources and expertise.
