Rs 26.56 crore worth orders have been secured by Hind Rectifiers from the Indian Railways. Hind Rectifiers is an industrial power electronics and power conversion devices manufacturer.
Media reports say that one of the orders pertains to 100 of 180-KVA static converters for Rs 19.21 crore from Chittaranjan Locomotive Works in Burdwan district of West Bengal. The other is for 169 alternator mounted rectifier for Rs 7.35 crore from Diesel Locomotive Modernisation Works.
