Kharghar is yet to get non-stop water supply

Kharghar in Navi Mumbai is yet to get non-stop water supply as the required water pipeline is still to be completed. Media reports say that the city builder City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) has failed to get approval from the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for laying pipelines by digging up the Sion-Panvel highway.    Cidco sources said that NHAI would ultimately yield and let it excavate the road. Even the area MLA Prashant Thakur is confident of that the matter would be sorted out soon and laying of water pipeline from Hetwane dam to Kharghar node will be completed.    Kharghar as an educational hub with 40 private schools in its vicinity.
