Hyderabad Mayor M Majid Hussain has asked all zonal commissioners of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to complete patch works and pothole -filling on main roads by October 14.
The Mayor instructed in this regard after holding a review meeting relating to arrangements for upcoming festivals like Dasara, Deepavali and Eid-al-Adha (Bakrid).
The Mayor asked the official to arrange for special lightings at places of public gathering during Dasara and to construct temporary ponds, wherever required, for playing Bathukamma festival.
