Ratnagiri Gas along with Power Plant have signed a long-term agreement with GE Energy to service and rehabilitate its power plant at Dabhol. They signed a eight-year agreement which could be further extended by another eight years.
The contract for rehabilitation and service is valued at $75 million and the spare parts contract is valued at $55 million. Ratnagiri Gas, which is a joint venture between NTPC and GAIL is producing 950 MW of power. It is further expected to generate 1940 MW By March 2010.
