Heavy downpour turns Vizags roads unmotorable

Huge potholes and craters have dotted most of Visakhapatnam roads due to the recent heavy downpour in the city. Negotiating the potholed roads has become a herculean task for motorists. Many roads of the city were waterlogged.    Even the stretch of 35-km National Highway-16 that cuts through the city has turned into a potholed one and giving motorists a tough time.    The cities several interior roads in Akkayyapalem, Dwarkanagar, China Waltair, Peda Waltair, Seetammadhara, Seetampeta, Muralinagar, Madhavadhara, Kancharaplem and Jnanapuram have been witnessing traffic snarls due to craters and water-logging caused by incessant rains and clogged drains.
