To set up a Rs 300 crore logistics hub at Naya Raipur- the new capital city of Chhattisgarh, Naya Raipur Development Authority and Container Corporation of India have signed an agreement on October 1. The State Chief Minister Raman Singh laid the foundation stone and performed bhoomipujan of the proposed logistic hub in an area of 100 acres at village Navagaon of Naya Raipur.
The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for various construction works, worth about Rs 1,000 crore, at different places in the new capital city. The upcoming logistic hub at Naya Raipur would facilitate transportation of goods, and will become a symbol of state's economic development, contributing to make Chhattisgarh a business destination.
Construction of this logistics hub will be completed within two years, the Chief Minister said.
