Through its wholly owned subsidiary Lifestyle Investments (LIPL), Prism Cements has sold its entire holding of 145.7 million shares in LSE listed Norcros Plc for a net consideration of GBP 26.55 million, making a gain of approximately GBP 12.8 million. The shares were sold at a unit price of 18.5 pence. Norcros Plc acts as a holding company for the Norcros Group.    

Lifestyle Investments is engaged in the development, manufacture and marketing of home consumer products in the United Kingdom, South Africa and others. The company operates in three segments: Triton Showers, Johnson Tiles and Norcros Adhesives. Triton Showers, which is engaged in the manufacture and marketing of showers; Johnson Tiles, which is engaged in the manufacturing and supplying of ceramic tiles and Norcros Adhesives, which is a manufacturer and supplier of adhesives, grouts, surface preparation and aftercare products for fixing ceramic and porcelain tiles, mosaics, natural stone and marble.    

The subsidiaries include Norcros Group (Holdings) Limited, Johnson Tiles (Pty) Limited, Philkeram Johnson SA and Norcros SA (Pty) Limited trading as Johnson Tiles (Pty) Limited, TAL and TAF.
