PWD takes up road works in Kolar

The contours of Kolar city may undergo a drastic makeover by April this year, with the Karnataka Public Works Department (PWD) lining up more road development projects.

Close on the heels of launching the work on widening of MB Road, projects to develop several arterial roads in Kolar too have been taken up. And the outlay for a majority of these projects is only Rs one crore.

The work on the road from Mecce Circle to Bangarpet Circle has already been completed and the stretch has now become a delight for motorists. Development of the stretch between Domelight Circle and Clock Tower has also been taken up.
