In north Chennai, commuting on the waterlogged and badly damaged Tiruvottiyur High Road has become a nightmarish experience for the residents of areas in and around Tiruvottiyur. Especially condition of the road's stretch at Rajakadai and Kaladipet is very bad.
Its a bumpy ride for motorists on the road. The road is filled with potholes especially at Kaladipet. It’s not just motorists who face problems, pedestrians also complain that the road has no space to walk.
