A detailed presentation on comparative performance of the key ministries during UPA and NDA governments has been sought by the Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi. Gandhi's sought the details as he was pressurised by the Opposition's criticism over infrastructure projects in the country.
While a couple of ministries, including urban development, have reportedly prepared reports, top officials of major infrastructure-related departments like roads and highways are still striving to provide an update.
Recently, the main opposition party BJP targeted UPA for failing on National Highways' (NHs) development, which was a priority programme during the Atal Bihari Vajpayee regime.
