Honeywell Technology Lab Solutions Private Ltd plans expansion of its unit at Varthur hobli. The Government of Karnataka approved Honeywell's expansion project with an estimated investment of Rs 1,373 crore. The state government has also approved the proposal to directly acquire 5.4 acre from farmers at Doddakannalli village, under Section 109 of the Karnataka Land Reforms Act.
