Nod for Rs Rs.23 cr worth road works on NH-66 in Kerala

To take up two road improvement works on the National Highway-66 passing through Thiruvananthapuram parliamentary constituency, the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has sanctioned funds. The cost has been estimated at Rs.23 crore.    

Improvement of Vellayani Junction on the NH stretch to Ookkode-Kalliyoor-Kakkamoola and a branch road (20 km) at a cost of Rs.11 crore is one work. And improvement of the 23-km Udiyankulangara-Plammoottukkada-Charottukonam-Chenkavila and Plammoottukkada-Idichakkaplamoodu on the NH stretch at an estimated cost of Rs.12 crore is another works sanctioned on the NH.
