The Centre has approved the national super computing policy and has sanctioned over Rs 4,000 crore.The government plans to build a vast super computing grid as per the policy. This would include setting over 70 high-performance computing facilities. The implementation of this project will take seven years. The benefits to the masses are expected by 2025.
